We are a Southern Baptist church. Everything we teach and preach is based upon God's word, the Holy Bible. We don't "water down" the gospel.
What can I expect?
At Rock Prairie Baptist Church, you can expect to be welcomed by friendly greeters who are more than happy to answer any questions you may have or to direct you to wherever you want to go.
We'll also hand you a Visitor's Bag to take home with you. It's just our way of saying, "Thanks for being part of our family today".
Is childcare provided?
Childcare is always available during services on Sunday.
What kind of music do you have during Worship Service?
We have a diverse Worship Team who brings us a creative mix of hymns, praise and worship, and southern gospel music each week. Whatever your musical preference, we think you'll like what you hear.
Do you have any kind of hearing assistance devices?
Yes! We provide, free of charge, ASSISTED LISTENING DEVICES (ALDs), for anyone who needs a little more volume or clarity. They work wirelessly with our sound system and can be used with or without hearing aids. If you want to try one out, just come by the Sound Room at the back of the Sanctuary and ask for one. We will put your name on it. Just return it to the Sound Room when you leave each week and it will be waiting for you the next Sunday.
What is the dress code?
Whether you wear a suit and tie or jeans and tennis shoes, we are just glad you come! The only thing we ask is that your attire be modest and not offensive to others.
